Pressures at the Prime Minister’s level on the Constitutional Court are still actual

In the interview with “news.am” news agency, Counsel, Attorney of Concern Dialog Law Firm Artur Hovhannisyan provided legal assessment of the Public TV’s one-sided media report broadcast on the 29th of January concerning Constitutional Court Chairman Hrayr Tovmasyan which was prepared in gross violation of the law and Code of Ethics. Artur Hovhannisyan finds that if the Public TV has been objective, it would also have maintained and presented the other party’s position, citizens would have realized that the charge brought was not reasonable. “For example it states that Hrayr Tovmasyan has actually possessed the premise. If that is true, where the evidence is? Or it states that Tovmasyan had actually received money for the premise. Where is the evidence? How did you find out? It is a shame that the Public TV prepares such one-sided media reports not ensuring the other party’s position and violating the law on Television and Radio”.
